Chiropractic Nutritional Products Developer, Dr. Chris Cormier has taken his holistic chiropractic training and applied it to nutrition based on years of research and observation during the course of his practice. Once a firm believer in vitamin supplements, Dr. Cormier became convinced that whole foods were a far more effective way to get the proper nutritional balance the body needs.
Dr. Cormier makes his theory simple to understand with his “Wellness Triangle.” Basically, the Wellness Triangle is made up of the following:
Genetics – Our genetic makeup, our DNA, is something we cannot change.
Physique – This is our body and everything to do with our body, including the things we can change, such as our posture or exercise routines and the things we cannot change, like accidents of fate or destiny. We have fifty percent control over our physique
Diet – In ideal circumstances, we have one hundred percent control over what we eat. We can choose to eat all natural foods or we can choose to eat junk food.
Dr. Cormier bases his theory on sound and sometimes startling facts. For example, he mentions that the United States pays the most amount annually for health care. Then he asks why it is that the US ranks number forty two in life expectancy. His theory is that it is largely because of our diet, which is well known to be among the nutritionally poorest in the world. What we eat, he asserts, is what we become.
Dr. Cormier points out many other factors that he believes contribute to our lack of longevity and health. He cites high levels of stress and lack of sleep as two contributing factors. Other factors, he believes, include prescription drugs and other factory made medications, including vitamins and minerals.
Dr. Cormier’s is not a doomsday message. He offers many Chiropractic Nutritional Products that in his opinion can help us enjoy longer, healthier lives.
