This guy does the same tired, old bit everywhere he goes to this day. It would be more acceptable if it weren’t such a transparent lie. Just say “it happened to me three years ago” at least.

Not really Vlad the Impaler who it was all based on was prince of Wallachia and whilst born in exile in Transylvania he and his entire family were thoroughly Romanian and in fact its ruling line. Transylvania always had a mixture of Hungarian and Romanian ethnicities which was what led Romania to violate their peace treaty – twice – to invade and seize it once Hungary had demobilised after the War. Funnily they actually did the same thing after both wars. And they were allies the second time!
