Nowadays, it appears that as the rich keep getting richer, the poor are still getting poorer. Third world nations are most affected by poverty, a problem characterized by severe deprivation of fundamental human requirements, which includes food, safe consumable water, sanitation facilities, well being, shelter, and education.
And though the globe produces enough food to feed all inhabitants, impoverished people within the developing countries cannot afford it and some do not even have access to it. People are going hungry, and poverty is basically the principal trigger of this hunger. It’s getting increasingly evident that the method to help stop poverty is education, across all sectors of humanity.
It is well recognized that no country can succeed if its citizens aren’t educated. Although education can aid avoid poverty, it is also a step to making wealth. Impoverished young children are typically less healthy, their language abilities less developed, and they’re generally socially, physically and emotionally unable to go to school.
What schools that do exist generally require fees that are above the typical family’s income. Without the funding and resources needed, kids will continue to grow-up and grow to be another statistic of poverty. On the flip-side, kids who do receive education can get better-paying jobs, have far better access to nutrition, are better able to stop illness and combat abuse, and in turn, are more likely to educate their own children.
Global poverty is an issue that we face every single day, wherever we live. When most of us think of poor folks, we picture that little child living in impossible living conditions in a village in southern Africa, crying. Increasingly more groups are cropping up to help stop poverty around the globe, not only in the United States.
They are taking actions to solve hunger problems by educating those affected on the best way to grow their very own food, sanitize utensils to prevent illness and even identifying job opportunities to help parents supply food for their children.
New schools are being built to educate young children, effectively planting the seeds to grow a self-sustaining community where they live. But although this new knowledge can only solve some issues, many more issues exist for Africa’s residents. Education is just a small step towards their sustainable future.
